A drafting-table model, placed on a sheet and annotated with a dimension, a note and an enlarged detail. The session ends with a PDF export.

Read the walkthrough

Start with the Modern Title Block template. The sheet uses the maker’s saved logo, contact details and name.
Open Project Info and enter the project title, number, client and revision. Set the title block’s scale text to 1:20.
Import a drafting-table STL model. The import preview shows front, top and isometric views; place the drawing on the sheet.
Add an attached linear dimension, shown as 1.58 m, and a leader note. Create a 2:1 enlarged detail with its callout.
Export the finished sheet as a PDF. Keep the .plansheet document for later edits.

The recording has no audio. You can also open the video directly (2.5 MB).

Set the scale: Import a PDF, image or model view. Calibrate a known distance, then add linear, radial or angular dimensions. Attached measurements follow their drawing when you move or rescale it.
Work through the details: Draw curves and hatched shapes, add notes, or pull out an enlarged detail. Use layers and groups to organise the sheet, and add more sheets when the project needs them.
Keep an editable copy: Save the project with its imported assets in a .plansheet file. Export a PDF for someone else to work from, and return to the original when something changes.

Drafting Table lays out and annotates drawing references. It does not edit solid geometry. Measurements depend on the source and its calibration.

Drafting Table began as a tool for documenting furniture, sculptures and art installations at Justice Engineering.

The aim was straightforward: a place to work out a design and make edits without opening a large CAD application. That remains the focus.

Your documents stay in files you control. The app works without an account and has no analytics. Privacy details
