Drafting Table is a Mac application for creating drawing and plan sheets. Its drawing tools work locally without a Drafting Table account.

Drawings and settings

Your documents, imported PDFs, images and drawing data are processed on your Mac. Imported assets are stored with the document. The app does not automatically upload documents to the developer or operate a document-hosting service.

The app stores title-block preferences, such as company, contact and drafter details, in its local preferences. A chosen logo is copied to local application support storage. These details may be included in documents you create and exports you choose to share.

You control where documents and exports are saved. Saving them in a cloud-synced folder, sharing them, or using an email provider is subject to the services you choose. macOS also manages app preferences, recent documents and window restoration.

Optional feedback and crash reports

Help → Support shows editable details including app and build version, macOS version, processor architecture and document format version. You can copy or save these details without an email application, or open an email draft. After an unexpected exit, Drafting Table can offer available exception details, such as an exception reason and stack trace, for the same review. Those details may include file paths or other information present in the exception. The app does not automatically attach your drawings or send the message.

You can review, edit or cancel the email before sending. If you send it, the recipient receives the message and the sender details supplied by your email account, which may include your name and email address. This information is used for support and investigating software problems. It is not used for advertising or tracking.

Pending local crash-report files are cleared when the app checks them at the next launch. Support correspondence sent by email is separate from those local files. Contact us with questions or deletion requests concerning correspondence you have sent.

Analytics, advertising and tracking

Drafting Table does not include advertising or a third-party analytics or crash-upload SDK. It does not track you across other companies' apps or websites. Apple and services you choose may process information under their own policies.

Your choices and contact

You can edit title-block details in Settings, remove the saved logo, and delete your drawing and export files using macOS. You can decline crash-report emails and cancel feedback messages.
